I offer Management Consulting by helping organizations to improve their performance, primarily through the analysis of existing problems in the configuration of Deltek Vision and the ability to report the needed metrics for managing the firm.  Once problem areas are identified a plan is developed for improvement. Firms often draw upon my services as a management consultant for a number of reasons, including gaining external and objective advice and access to that specialized expertise.

As a result of my previous role as well as exposure to and relationships with numerous organizations, I am keenly aware of industry "best practices".  Although transferring such practices from one organization to another may be limited, but by the specific nature of the A/E Industry they remain similar and should be considered.

From time to time I may also provide organizational management assistance, development of coaching skills, technology implementation, strategy development, or operational improvement services. I often call upon my own work history to guide the identification of problems, and to serve as the basis for recommendations for more effective or efficient ways of performing work tasks.

Always with a keen eye on automation possibilities using SQL Stored Procedures and/or others to simplify your life.  Automating closing entries will take you out of spreadsheet calculations improving your monthly close time and reporting process.  There is no limit for uses of a SQL Stored Procedure.  Allocations across Orgs (Profit Centers or Departments) of:  Corporate Overhead, Professional Liability Insurance, Fringe Benefit Costs, Overtime Premium Costs not posted in timesheets, Department Allocations just to name a few.
